The Patricia Seybold Group is a small, collegial firm that provides customized consulting, publishes strategic Information Technology research weekly and monthly, and holds executive-level workshops. We have immediate openings for an experienced Senior Consultant/Analyst, Analyst, and Freelance writers. These positions will report to the CEO. The Company is located in Boston’s North End waterfront and is accessible via public transportation. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Senior Consultant/Analyst
Research areas encompass information technology solutions
that improve customer experience, making it easy for customers to do business;
e.g., customer analytics, cross-channel customer experience, portal deployment,
customer service, or customer self-service. You will:
- Stay abreast of developments in your research area
- Maintain relationships with vendors in your research area
- Produce seven in-depth analysis reports per quarter
- Participate in selling research and consulting services
- Actively manage several of our top accounts
- Deliver 4 days of consulting per month
We prefer people who have helped organizations implement software
solutions.

Analyst
Research areas encompass information technology solutions
that improve customer experience, making it easy for customers to do business;
e.g., customer analytics, cross-channel customer experience, portal deployment,
customer service, or customer self-service. You will:
- Stay abreast of developments in your research area
- Maintain relationships with vendors in your research area
- Update the existing research reports in your research area, publishing 6 reports per quarter
- Participate in selling research and consulting services
We prefer people who have helped organizations implement software

Freelancers
Research areas encompass information technology solutions
that improve customer experience, making it easy for customers to do business;
e.g., customer analytics, cross-channel customer experience, portal deployment,
customer service, or customer self-service. You will:
- Produce in-depth analysis reports (15-30 pages)
- Manage a research agenda, and suggest topics for reports in your research area
